Reread the "Sword identity" short story recently. I like how in it and the EX4 novel, Goz, Morgu, Groovy, and Balleroy are just depicted like regular co-workers. Casual friends, even.

And then there's their two co-workers who are constantly dueling each other.

And then there’s that other co-worker who's constantly staging rebellions against the throne.

“The apex of the common man.” There are a lot of words I would use to describe that man, but I don’t think that’s one of them.
